this is why i advocate for road cameras, stop light cameras, neighborhood cameras, way too many hit and runs, been going on for years now.

and what also irks me, is that many states, including mine, want to "give" driving permits to undocumented people...

either that driver had no license, or no proper registration, or a stolen car, or was drunk or stoned, thanks to legalized marijuana smoking, or had outstanding warrants on him/her is why they fled

but the trucker still gets the "joy" now of having an accident on his record.

I pay extra to add protection against uninsured drivers to my policy because I live in a border state.

 

and we should NOT have to.

i have "uninsured motorists coverage", in the event the moron that hits my car, or wife's car has NO insurance. right now, it's not that costly, but i can guarantee anyone that the rate will go up, as soon as this "undocumented person permit to drive" starts here sometime in 2023.

I don't doubt that at all. Rates are definitely going to go up and pay go down.

well, that's why i told my wife, even "if" you tap someone, back up, and ram the hell outta them and make our misery in court worth it.
