    why is it you can only get a burger cooked rare at a steakhouse? like Logan's or lone star

    Just ate some tonight. The fry's taste and chew horrible hot or cold but the burger is much better cold. Would much rather have mc Donald's
     
  4. Because the method of cooking at a quick service concept does not really allow for control of doneness, nor does the skill level of the staff.

    They probably grind their own hamburger fresh from known good meat. Prepackaged hamburger has whatever in it and really needs to be cooked thoroughly to kill off whatever is in it like E Coli.
