Clicks are kilometers, roger is right, Timmies is Tim Horton's, a double double is two shots of cream and sugar, and poutine is the Canadian national dish; French fries topped with gravy and cheese curds. Purty good, actually.

 

Limited burgers in my area ,,had CARL JRs in BC…its good. Burger King is still good…Had a specialty burger from a independent with unique ingredients (Kim chee) but $50 for 2 burgers and fries…we back to make our own with ground chuck..thats the winning beef

 

You want proper biscuits and gravy ,,,you in wrong country,,mediocre at best
Biscuits and gravy done right. See those chunks of sausage,,ya no little booger bites you gotta. Search around for.
The wife makes a biscuit loaded with aged cheese and local Heartbeat Hotsauce to top it off,,,here in Thunder Bay On,,,the land of the sleeping giant!!

They opened a Five Guys here 6-7 years ago. Everyone raved about it. I wasn’t impressed. Took my buddy there and dang near had to take out a loan to pay the bill. Ridiculous.

 

Despite living on a sandbar, I am quite aware of what Poutine is.

Being as I live south of Canada, and don't like coffee no matter how much crap you put in it...this is a double double in my world..

Biscuits and Gravy is just fine in my part of the world. We do our biscuits and gravy just fine in the south, which ironically is a southern dish. Come visit sometime.

Sorry you didn't enjoy it. Sadly, it's what happens when things get franchised. Far as pricing like everything else, pricing has gone up. I stropped going to them outside of where they started. Only exception is the one on my sandbar. Still don't go very often though as it's always packed with tourists nowadays.

I do get it though. I feel the same way about Carl's Jr. It's Hardee's younger and hip brother.
