I've been driving for quite awhile, but never into Florida, I didn't know they had a 41'ft kingpin to rear axel. anyways I'm 1200 miles from the shipper, and in the 12th hole. If I were to slide into the 41ft hole , I'd be 2800 over on my tandems, my question is if they pull me in for kingpin to rear axel over, will they then make me slide into the proper hole and then re weigh me and bust me for being overweight too?? I'm aware I screwed myself since I'm under my own authority. Just trying to figure out what I can do to help this situation a little bit or am I SOL??
In need of FL kingpin to rear axel/overweight.

Fla weight limits are different.https://www.flhsmv.gov/fhp/cve/2013TruckingManual.pdf

Florida is picky about being 41' or less (kingpin to center of tandems, not to rear axle like where Cali measures to)...you can be up to 40k lbs on your tandems, but don't exceed the 41' bridge.

Florida will actually give you 44,000 per tandem. Strict on 80,000 and 41' kingpin to center of tandems. *weight allowed so long as you do not exceed axle or tire ratings.
Pictures below are for Florida roads as well as interstate roads. This is in the front of your rand McNally atlas. Hope ya learned something here today..
