So I just started school and I know people will probably say why look for a new company when I just started school but I’ve heard a lot of bad things about my company and I’m doing team so I thought I would drive team for 6 months and switch companies because I heard that 6 months of team is equivalent to one year solo but I can’t afford to pay out of pocket for my schooling if I leave my company before the year contract is there any companies out there that will take me and pay off my school or work with me on it

Stay until you finish. Other companies can promise everything you desire. And during orientation it will disappear and you are back where you started. If you hang in there you have better character and have meet your obligation.

    ^agreed.
Also, take it from a job jumper: job jumping in this industry is POISON to you.

Stay put. No job is perfect, even the best companies have their issues.

Change the "grass is greener" mind set into "I can handle this. "

You'll be FAR better off in the long run.

Team does not equal one year

Time is of itself. If we all could reduce the one year grind to a 6 month team we all would do it already. But its not work that way.

Once I had no money to go trucking without borrowing money and thats really bad. What I did to solve that immediate problem was go do dishes at a fast food joint for a few months. Next thing I understand is that I have a couple of thousand saved. and a few other opportunities.

Having no money is not a barrier. It should reduce for you what has to be done in a given time frame to pay cash for schooling etc. Going deeper into debt to a Student Loan or Promissary System is legal, however once you do this you will constantly face problems later in life until that particular debt is paid one way or the other. They always get their money.

Thank you all for your advice the more I thought about it the more I realized it would just be better to stay out for the year so my school is paid off plus for all I know the things I heard may or may not be true it’s all hear say

plus you'll be a better driver by then, and not a "steering wheel holder" that we all end up starting out. More companies will want you.

I'm just finishing up my first year in a few days now. I thought about jumping at 6mos., then at 9mos., but just decided a solid year with no accidents and tickets was the goal, and I'm glad I did. A lot more doors are opening up now, than the 1 or 2 you might find at 6mos. Just my advice.

Find a smaller company that will pay more and then file bankruptcy

Yea, it can be an interesting adventure. I remember one evening the truck stopped and I could hear voices. Eventually the truck started moving again and I decided to look through the curtain to see what was going on. That is when I asked my teammate why we were in someone's lawn. He replied with I got this. I returned to the sleeper and fell back to sleep after a little prayer.
