Do you use Ag exempt for raw milk?. That makes a huge difference to available miles. I can run 900+ miles a day in a 71mph truck using the exemption. I don't do it because I don't want to run myself ragged, but the option is there.

I can’t go back and look at my 8 days tab on the Qualcomm, because too much time has passed at this point. I will say, though, I don’t recall exceeding 650 miles on very many days last month. I think it was 663 from Lindsay, CA to Winslow, AZ, but the majority of them were between 550-650.
I prefer to run off recap. So, I’m usually driving each day when I’m on the road and not off work. I don’t like sitting for a 34 in a parking lot unless I’m in a position where it’s necessary and makes the most sense. So, when you’re looking at my weekly numbers up there, it would be most accurate to divide by 6 or 7 days. You’ll find that those numbers are easily doable without breaking over 650 miles in a day. I rarely use the Ag Exempt status since a lot of my loads are juice. I just keep moving by utilizing my recap and save the sitting around for when I’m off work. I’m also protective of my 11 hour driving clock. Meaning, I park to wait out accidents, plan my movements to avoid city rush hours, and oftentimes run at night when traffic is thin.jarhead0311, Redtwin, Cobrawastaken and 1 other person Thank this. -
34 got up and got sent to Carlisle for a short run to Conestoga then bounced to Bensalem to swap tanks to go to Wilmington to live load to Spokane. Dropped that yesterday. Didn’t have enough hours to run a Mn load from Jerome, Id so 34 here in Prosser then bounce to Salem, Or for cranberry juice to Arcadia. Glad to be out of the northeast, was driving me nuts. Planning a week vacation to Guangzhou, China in a couple months hopefully to visit my gf and her daughter. She asked if I’d be willing to move there if we were to marry and I said I would be. She has contacts job wise for me since I do have degrees I can use. Need to update my passport. Getting better with my Mandarin with her tutoring on top of the app I use.

A young lady from my hometown was an overseas English teacher in China for a handful of years. She blogs a lot of her world travels, the different food servings people eat, sightseeing trips, etc. It’s definitely interesting to see what’s out there across the pond.
I’m loading in Cedar Rapids, IA later this week for Centralia, WA. I haven’t done that one in a few years, so I’m looking forward to it. I left Winter Haven on Saturday and dropped in Random Lake, WI last night.navypoppop and jarhead0311 Thank this. -
Picked up my clean tank in Prosser 0130 this morning to bounce to Salem. Driving down WA-14 at 0330 a car came speeding down my side of the road then veered the last minute, I held my lane and stepped on the brakes bracing for head on collision. Didn’t know if they fell asleep or was on a suicide mission. Glad they corrected….got to Kerr and was having issues with their cooling system, 0500 appt and just now getting finished @1630…

Had a good friend (now deceased) who had a guy suicide himself by running into his truck head-on in northern Wisconsin probably 35 years ago, They knew it was a suicide because the guy had a letter in his coat pocket outlining his intention.FullMetalJacket, xlsdraw, Cobrawastaken and 2 others Thank this.

Anyone that decides to off themselves is pretty chicken ####. The driver has to live with that outcome for the rest of their lives. Not to mention the family after having the police show up at the house to explain the results. You want to suicide yourself, jump off a bridge.runningman0661, Lonesome, navypoppop and 5 others Thank this.

That's a hell of a move. I wouldn't know where to begin learning Chinese. I have a hard enough time picking up Spanish despite having Spanish classes in school and just hearing it spoken day to day.jarhead0311, Friend and navypoppop Thank this.

Definitely a big move but it isn’t set in stone quite yet, she just asked if I was willing to and I said yes because I’m adaptable and have useful degrees.Redtwin Thanks this.

I rarely see them. But it feels odd when I see a IR freightliner. Like it's out of place
