Not sure if it is seasonal or just a new thing but they are supposed to have 75 of us eventually running on them. Idaho to Washington back and forth. Can only use AG exempt 150 miles radius from the barn then 150 miles from the receiver. In between regular logging.

I’m getting ready to leave the Loves in Prosser and head to Idaho myself.

I was told IR trucks don't have the switch. No idea why. First time I ran into that.

How was it? Did they expect you to do one round trip per day?

Also, does anyone know if there is something similar to this run, but based out of Winter Haven, FL?

The ag exemption is 150 mile radius from point of origin (loading). We pick up anhydrous ammonia in the Texas panhandle and take it to Iowa. The ag exemption begins when we are 150 air miles from the loading point until we exit that radius coming back.

There is an app called Radius. You put in your point of origin and set the distance to 150 miles. I gives you a full radius of the 150 air mile limit. The DOT uses 172 miles as an average for driving miles, but using the app you sometimes run over 200 because of how your route runs through the exemption area.

For those Indian River drivers looking for parking near the Laurel, MD milk plant. Site would not upload Word or Excel file.

    Skylark Blvd, Laurel, MD (bobtail)
this is the backside of the milk plant, the end of a development with no access to the plant. Approximately 5 minutes from the plant.
    Google Maps

Scaggsville, Rd Laurel, MD across from the police station and fire dept. Bobtail parking. I have seen trailers parked here but might be an issue trying to turn around. Approx 10 minutes from the plant.
    Scaggsville Rd - Google Maps

Exit 37 rest area Savage, MD I-95 Northbound
Sometimes parking will back up before the rest area entrance and the Gorman road bridge (pictured in the link). Parking is also at the exit of the rest area.
    I-95 - Google Maps
    Exit 37 rest area Southbound
This almost never backs up out of the exit, even when the Northbound side is.

Rt 216 and All Saints Rd before the bridge
Picture is deceiving. I often see 3-4 tractor trailers parked on the shoulder before the bridge.
    MD-216 - Google Maps
This pic is from the other direction. Parking on the shoulder and under the bridge on the left of the pic.
    MD-216 - Google Maps

If you come across the American Legion Bridge from VA into MD and the 495S beltway or from I-270 to 495S. Take Exit 27 for 95N which also goes to the weigh station on the right. Careful at the exit as trucks often take out the guardrail entering the exit.
There is a lot of parking on the wide left shoulder after the road veers to the left (see 2nd link below). I have never seen this full and even at the busiest times at least space for 6-8 tractor trailers.
Slightly further on the right there is more parking where the shoulder is 2-3 trucks wide.
Also note the curve to the right on 495 Inner Loop before Wisconsin Ave. heading toward Exit 27. Trucks often take out the guardrail and some have ended up in the woods.
College Park, Maryland - Google Maps
Capital Beltway Inner Lp - Google Maps
College Park, Maryland - Google Maps How do you know flip floppers park here? Look at all the trash.
Hyattsville, Maryland - Google Maps This is the parking on the right side after the left side parking. A long on ramp from 495 to 95N.

And lastly there is always the Jessup truck stop.

I was doing it wrong then to a degree because it is 400 miles from origin to receiver. I’d run AG exempt 150 miles radius from origin then take it out then put it back into AG exempt 150 from receiver.

Still stuck sitting here on the Port. 4 Johanna loads and for some reason they can’t get the paperwork for mine printed. Asked to switch tanks for one that has the paperwork but won’t let me.

There is a relay that goes bad in the fuse box under the hood, that has been the cause of my AC not blowing cold on more than one occasion.

I have been able to get going just by pulling the relays and swapping them around. I suspect the relay just overheats and shutting down the truck and pulling them was enough to get them working again.
