IRT took over the Southeast milk routes out of Okeechobee FL. The farms and the 3 main customers are all within 150 mile radius. Legally you could run nonstop 24/7, but that's way too much work for me and safety might eventually say something if they caught on.TruckDriver87 and navypoppop Thank this.

Finally got my paperwork 8 hrs later, lol! Woman in the lab would have gotten it done faster if the person above her would have listened to her suggestion to start the process over from the beginning. Drove far enough to get in range of dropping Monday in Spokane.
Tanker_82 and drvrtech77 Thank this. -
This is how I do those. I usually start in Bensalem with a full clock and bobtail to the Wilmington drop yard to get mine.

Well today truck will be fixed. Dealership did find a air leak which currently plan is unless it's very bad. Will be fixed later on.
Also dispatch is having me bobtail home. So going from Newburgh NY to Maine. That's just a insane bobtailing home. I actually called to double-check after I saw that message.Lonesome and navypoppop Thank this. -
They aren't shy about deadhead or bobtail miles. On more than one occasion I have come off hometime in Winter Haven and been told to deadhead to Bensalem PA or Mission TX. To get me home I have dead headed from Toronto Canada, to Laurel MD, grabbed a load of milk delivering to Decatur AL, then deadheaded from there back to Winter Haven.
My very first dispatch fresh out of orientation I was told to grab a tank and head to Indianapolis. No address, no load information, just start driving in that general direction. I stood in dispatch for a minute staring at them waiting for the laughter as I was sure they were pranking me.hotrod1653, Tanker_82, motocross25 and 4 others Thank this. -
When I used to work at IRT they would regularly have me deadhead to Tulare, CA from home (Tulsa, OK)
hotrod1653, Tanker_82, Redtwin and 2 others Thank this. -
Currently based what pay I have been getting. It's about the same as my previous company. But less miles. But that's partly because trying to keep me in certain areas to get pump training.
I did notice I need to contact payroll on Monday. Because the hazmat load I did. Shows the same cpm as others. -
I hate when I get the slow pump and it takes 30 minutes to fuel….
