Yeah, I have received that booklet quite a few times. I have looked into it and the website wanted me to state that I was the owner of the truck or something to that effect which I wasn't prepared to do so I didn't bother going any further with it.
Going inside isn't that big of a deal to me and CBP hasn't yet made it enough of a big deal.

Ok so unless this load from NJ to NH is a pump off. It's not a pump load. I walk up to check in and I see they load you. Even though load claims driver load.
So basically wasting my time with a "pump" load that any Indian River driver can do....navypoppop Thanks this. -
You seem to be having quite a few issues with each load you've taken. Just say'in....navypoppop, Speedy356 and JohnBoy Thank this.

You think?Lonesome, azheavyduty and navypoppop Thank this.

Make sure they are well aware of them sticking both there fists up your ### to guilt you into a short haul to get load covered & then giving good load to someone else.
First time you get burned is always the last time.SlowPokeHauler Thanks this. -
I'm going to see tomorrow if I will need to call to question why Winter Haven gave me this load. Based on a picture of one drivers review of the receiver. It is looking like I won't be unloading it. Because has a picture of the hose connected to the customer unload.
-
Other than this load. The company as a whole. I don't mind. But they really need to figure out who dispatches drivers. Because in orientation told they do it by region. So I should of been dispatched by Bensalem. But because I'm pump Winter Haven seems to have a override in what loads I'm sent.

I wouldn’t sweat it. You just hired on last month. They accommodated you living in Maine after not being willing to in the past when you previously applied. You have a passport. You were already in the area and I assume empty and available. Having you cover it probably made the most sense. I see the picture you posted where it looks like Bensalem dispatch already confirmed that they have plans to get you on an outbound load going West. Spokane loads out of Wilmington are a dime a dozen. You will probably end up with more miles now by the time you factor in going to New Hampshire, unloading, then deadheading back down from New Hampshire before heading to Washington.
If you go back to the beginning of this thread and read the first handful of pages of it, you will see that I spent my first month going from Coopersville to Wisconsin - back to Coopersville - back to Wisconsin, etc. etc. I wasn’t in love with it, but I rode it out and looked at the positive side. The positive side was that the miles were still good and I was making money. I knew I couldn’t expect to have every single thing I wanted being a new guy on the block back then. Instead of telling someone in the office that they were double fisting me, I tried to make them a hand. As time went by, I developed a give and take rapport with just about every dispatcher at every terminal we have. If they needed something done that I wasn’t really infatuated with doing, I did it. It paid off, too, because they began accommodating me when I wanted to go a particular direction or remain in a certain region, etc. In my opinion and personal experience, they appreciate that here and it’s how you earn respect.
Spokane along with most of the other cross country loads are non-pump loads that “any Indian River can do” as well. So, I wouldn’t mention that too much if it’s what you’re wanting to do in a pump truck, because they might interpret it to mean that you only want to haul pump required loads and view the others as a waste of time.
They’re probably planning on bringing you right back down to kick you across the country after that since they already sent you a message letting you know it’s on their mind and in the works.Speedy356, Gearjammin' Penguin, JohnBoy and 3 others Thank this. -
I'm not really complaining. It's just a tad annoying that you would think a load that the pump dispatch sends. Would actually be a pump load.
Though I will be trying to find out tomorrow why I wasn't paid anything this week. Because I got nothing for that load someone grabbed from me because of ac issues. Also no breakdown pay. -
That had to have been something related to the way it was scanned in or possibly wasn’t received. Definitely call payroll and explain the situation if you weren’t paid for something. They will get it taken care of. That is one department that I have had zero issues with.
