Pump pay is $75. Turns out I'm supposed to write it on the trip sheet to payroll knows.
Going to be picking up apple juice tomorrow in NJ bound for Illinois. Then they will attempt to get me longer load.Redtwin, Tanker_82 and navypoppop Thank this. -
Just thought to share in case anyone gets sent to Boston Brands in Lewiston Maine. You need to back in off the street because no room to turn around. Should try to hug the building because unloading location is where I circled. After you sort of line up they bring out a couple ramps to get your drives on to make sure everything is gone. Only real issue is that they shove some hazmat tanks right in front of that location. So once your empty after pulling forward to get ramps removed. You will need to back up some more to swing enough to leave.

I swear this truck hates me. I noticed it wasn't giving me any air in the sleeper. So I called breakdown. Sounds like the blower motor died. So currently other than that other issues are a leaking clutch fan and PTO currently rerouted to fifth wheel slide. It has over 525k miles on it.
navypoppop Thanks this. -
Has anyone delivered here before? It looks like pain. Bringing edible egg from Iowa to there.

@aramil248 This is some info I gave Jarhead on it back in June. I’m attaching the screenshot in case it doesn’t come through on the quote.Speed_Drums and Lonesome Thank this.

Fan clutch and sleeper blower motors are known issues with the 579. The others you can expect to encounter are the rear axle levelling valve and the notorious turn signal/wiper stalk.Lonesome Thanks this.

I have a feeling when I first called breakdown about it. They was hoping to get a warranty repair. Because asked the milage of the truck.
Will just have Bensalem deal with it after my delivery on Monday. -
So I was fueling up the truck and noticed something missing. I think other side will probably go at some point.
navypoppop and Rugerfan Thank this. -
Same exact thing happened to my Indian River truck. At least yours lasted longer than mine. It fell off before I even hit 200k miles. This, combined with the turn signal stalk (had that replaced twice in a year, then again when I worked at Caledonia) and suspension leveling valve failing on my Caledonia truck were part of the reasons I wanted to find a company that did not have Peterbilts. I have a Freightliner now and haven't had any issues other than the adaptive cruise not working right (which can be said for any truck brand), knock on wood.Lonesome, Redtwin and navypoppop Thank this.
