1. You are given a fuel stop en route through the computer. Your adherence to these fuel stop locations is graded on a percentage. You can get 50 gallons anywhere in an emergency.

 

Hey bud. 2016 was quite a while ago. Surely found out that answer by now. To anybody reading this ... T/A still exists but to be honest they're even more broke as they were before. I now work for a LTL carrier running line haul (not UPS or FEDEX) making #### good money and being home every day. Don't settle for TRASH carriers like TransPOOR American't !

 

I did my time with Transpoor in 03 myself. Local, and happy, as well today!

 

Glory days of OTR are dead and gone. I ran my D!CK in the dirt for them and all they wanted was more more more. I was supposed to work only M-SAT morning and take 34hrs off weekly .Nope. They want your ### on the road turning a buck being a rolling road block at 65mph. They haul nothing but dirt cheap freight and operate at the lowest possible cost to them as possible . I cannot believe how much better and more sophisticated LTL is. Best decision I made.

 

Gawd, I remember. My son was born in '04 and I ALMOST DIDN'T MAKE IT HOME. Wife had to pick me up at the T/A in Bellville Ohio, on SR97, ON HER WAY to the hospital, in labor, as I parked the truck for a 34 (that turned into a 72.)

 

I'm not running LTL but sure have a sweet treat of a job, intrastate, dedicated. Numbers in the 4's, I'm good. Transpoor, man. 8 was a good week. Yep, nope.

 

Unreal. Well, we all make sacrifices. We all start from somewhere . I never had it that bad! Happy you found a better outfit man, we all deserve better than that kinda life!

 

Yessir. Ditto to you, as well~! I've put my time in, and have a 'treat' of a job..house paid off, no debt (but the wife's Amazon expenditures) ... I'm good. Glad for you also!
