Instruments cluster

    I have a 2005 Freightliner Century... My instrument cluster isn't working none of the gauges work and im getting a message that says no data link...

    It 1st started when my main battery cable need replacing so I rewire the batteries from the battery box to the ECM and starter...
    Here's the the the data link on the floor has power... I've bought two replacement instrument panels one worked fine for a min then it stopped working and the other hasn't worked at all... all the fuses related to the instrument cluster are good and cleaned but still can't put a finger on the issue...

    Can someone tell me what it might be

    Sounds like you need to T/S the datalink to the cluster. Should be a pair of twisted wires. Look for breaks or damage. Key off check resistance between the 2 wires. I believe you should see about 60 ohms if everything is good.
