But it says right there you can make $70k year? I mean what that’s only 175k miles a year? Says I’ll be home every weekend?

    What you complaining about?

    That’s 3400 miles a week average of 68 hours driving a week .
that means you would have to max out everything every week sounds like a pipe dream.
And home every weekend! Good luck with that.......

If you read the post, it says minimum pay for minimum experience. Perhaps if some one had more experience, the position would pay better.

True, but it also says 2 years exp. So .40 @ 2 years exp is horrible.

CPM doesn’t tell the whole picture. I hired on at my current company 5 years ago at 38 cents a mile (May have been .41 I can’t remember) plus accessory pay. I averaged around 50 CPM pulling legal freight.

5 years later my base rate is .49 cents per mile and I average around a dollar a mile as a company driver.

I’m not saying this is the situation at that company, but you never know.

It also says "pay is percentage or per mile". Choose wisely my child.

Be happy that you make enough to turn your nose up at someone elses check. Hard times doesnt discriminate, could be you someday.

Maybe you’d know better, but I was always told that for regional work percentage is better.
