Insurance.....Broker or no broker?

    Ive got an insurance broker(I guess thats the correct term) who is terrible and returning my correspondence. My term is up in 2 weeks and ive yet to hear back from him.......We spoke about a few different options about 3 weeks ago and im gonna kick progressive to the curb and try to find a more suitable option.

    Is it better to get another broker or just go directly to companies myself for insurance?

    Im gonna give OOIDA a call in the morning.......

    You’ll just need to fill out a ROA (release of agent) form once you find a new agent. Or the new agent can do it or help you with it.

    I might be wrong but I think progressive is the only one that will deal with you directly. The other ones you will have to use a agent.

    I done the online inquiry with great west which led me directly to an agent who ive been in contact with.

    A good broker can save you lots of time and effort but mot necessarily tons of money. IME, the rates they get me are about what I could get on my own. However, it's a real PIA spending a month getting quotes so good brokers can be a life saver when I'm über busy.
