Maybe set up your business in another state? -
Thats what i was thinking because i see here in florida their is very few companies that write insurance and from what im discovering is getting insurance here is very difficult. Im trying to figure out how to do it because i may need a physical address in another state to be able to do it because a p.o box wont work.

Try, Insurance Company of Florida, 813 788 1465 ask for Roni. I do not know if they help or not but it is worth a try.

one of the insurance agent told me that progressive just stop writing polices for new trucking companies. which is why all the other companies jacked up there prices.try Campbell group insurance out of Clearwater fl.ask for pete. explain him your situation and he will work with you,he's very nice guy & knows his stuff.not like those other agents who don't even contact you back.good luck.

FL is a very difficult state and our rate levels in FL are among the highest we have in the country. A Dade county OTR owner operator will pay at least $ 20-25K depending on phys dam values.......MAY be slightly lower in the panhandle, but not much.....have your local retail insurance professional contact a wholesaler that has access to National Indemnity

National idemnity denied us do you know any other insurers?
