I am as well, they said day of judgment they would appeal. But my larger point was payouts are much larger than they used to be. In the grand scheme of things the war on trucking, a lot of it's from within, plays out in the publics eye. We even have "associations" publicly battling each other over regulations. I get the need for it but when the public gets drug through our mud and they already had a muddy opinion of the industry for a variety of reasons it becomes easier to sit in a court room and side against the muddy, dirty, corrupt industry. The result is we start getting hit in the pocket book and all the wrong regulations. The industry is it's own worst enemy, I say it all the time.

Agreed. However, most regulations passed in today's time are not about safety. They are bought and paid for by SIGs that give Congress incentive to restrict the market in their favor. It's basically a modern day reincarnation of the pre-deregulation days.

But the industry gives them fuel for that fire. If you want to put the fire out you attack the fire at is base.

I'm seeing a rather good reduction in insurance, 4% from last year.

I would check into that yourself. Call OOIDA and Hartford in person. See what they come up with for you.

I have OOIDA and my renewal was just sent to me and my premium basically increased by 3%. I was expecting a better deal.

I’ve had no tickets, warnings, or claims over the past year
