Progressive is the only one I know that will insure a new cdl holder.

it will be about 25k a year if I’m not mistaken.

I have contacted a few brokers, and called progressive as well, but it seems like they don’t cover OTR drivers

“didn’t do your research” Lmao definitely an understatement, but unfortunately it’s too late for to back out now I called progressive, unfortunately they don’t want to cover OTR drivers, rather out of state drivers I should say.

My mother called his insurance, and they said “we need an even amount of drivers for trucks, one driver can’t have two trucks” :/ which is a bummer

yes, he does own the company. I plan to run under his authority, as he’s been in the game for quite a while.

unfortunately, his insurance company only covers one driver per one truck if that makes sense. My dad can’t insure 2 trucks, unless another driver is attached to that truck.

What kind of rule is that?

We have more drivers than trucks if you could the part-time drivers, and we have less drivers than trucks if you only count the full-timers. People hire and quit all the time in this industry, do they cancel the coverage on a driver's assigned truck when he leaves?
