Yesterday between Flagstaff & Phoenix coming down, there was a wrecker hooked up to a tractor trailer bringing them both down.
Around a few bends on the 18 mile long grade part, CRE was creeping along in the travel lane at about 5 MPH with his tandems about to burst into flame, smoking heavily, traffic going by him at 65 to 75 MPH ( I went by him at about 65 ). The wrecker bearing down on him.
A few miles up the the road another wrecker was bringing down another truck.
    Quite a day.
They've installed radar speed signs on several of the grades now, and drop the limit to 65 in several places.
    You are so advised.

I think those “hills” become an issue when traffic is heavier, like most any place. Don’t lose respect for them hills that’s when you screw up.
