I have a 98 9200i. Anyone knows where the sticker showing axle weight rating is? All other trucks have it on a door frame, this one does not....
    Thank you

The easiest way is to call an IH dealer with the last eight of the vin.

I did and my front is 14k which increases my gross. To be more specific, it is a straight truck so rear tandem interstate will always be 34k. My front is 14k, and when they pull me over at the scale, yes my tag is for 48k gross but how do i prove I actually have 14k front and not 12k?

Id ask your dealer if they can order you the sticker with the axle ratings.
Or maybe the axle mfr sticker is still on the steer axle. (sticker should be located on the front side of the steer axle beam near the oil pan)

    Check tag on the axle.

Its been about 10 years since I actually looked at a Cornbinder but for some reason I seem to recall seeing that sticker in the glovebox or on the backside of the fuse panel maybe?

I’m not saying it doesn’t happen, but I’ve never had anybody check my axle ratings. I mean, you could make yourself up a official looking tag to say anything you wanted.

I’ve never seen that either. Usually it’s the pickup trucks pulling goosenecks and fifth wheels that get looked at for ratings.
