This is definitely a click bait video - I’ve seen it everywhere.

The red truck was oversized, my guess was he called 911 the second it happened.

The other 2 trucks likely the same.

The campers that stopped almost caused wrecks themselves.

The caption is “OMG Can’t believe all these callous truckers just drove by”

if I had seen that I would have pulled over.

    he could be seriously injured.

I'm not familiar with that exit. It doesn't look very sharp though.

It's odd that all the trucks were traveling in the hammer lane.

It’s the new loop from NB 218 onto WB I-80 at Iowa City. I haven’t been on it, but on Google it appears to start gradual and then the curve tightens a little. I’m not sure what the posted speed is.

It’s a loop for a ramp. My guess is that they were in the left lane to avoid the upcoming merging traffic from 218 south getting on 80, and it’s also one less lane to move over when you have about a mile to get left 3 lanes for 80 west.

Oh he was definitely sending it when he went over, you get a judge of velocity by the other traffic that passed by.

I probably would have too, if there was enough shoulder to do so and be out of the travel lane. Walk back with a fire extinguisher and check.

My main point is the title of this video around different sites - it's designed to get clicks and outrage. I'd guess 911 probably got 10 calls in the first 2 minutes after the wreck. And I don't know what the rest of the ramp/shoulder/merge looks like for safe stopping potential.

The camper that stopped, then attempted to back up and get off the road nearly caused a couple of more wrecks.
