I meant a physical plug into the wall, or VOIP phone. I haven't had a land line for a very long time. Well not totally true. Needed phone line for alarm. But never used the phone. No longer have the line.

I use my cell phone number for my IRP account. I don't have a land line at all.

Just give them a number that you can be reached at, there is no regulation stating it has to be a hard line phone number.

    swaggerjacker and Ruthless Thank this.

The business has a land line but I always list my cell on IRP and IFTA forms. I'm the one that handles it all so I figure they need to call me if there is a problem.

The phone number isn't listed so they can perform some sort of verification, it's just for them to be able to call you if needed.

They have called a couple of times. Once because they caught a error on my IFTA return. The second time was to inform me of a audit. They sent a audit letter and then followed up with a phone call.

    swaggerjacker Thanks this.

Cool. I thought it sounded a bit antiquated, but thought I'd ask. Thanks Man.
