You probably wouldn't want anyone's who is selling. Bad CSA scores and such

How much are you willing to spend?

I'll sell my numbers, truck, trailer, and list of contacts to include direct shippers. All for $425,000 cash, non-negotiable.

Yowzers. Hadn't thought about that. But surely retiring owners would want to sell their authorities as the good ones should have market value. Is that normally done through direct networking?

There is a local guy here, selling his truck and MC for $40k, the MC starts with 3, he already has a line of people wanting to buy, so I think he is gonna auction it to the highest bidder. Honestly, instead of opening a new, I should have probably looked into buying one. It's just so much easier with insurance and brokers.

I'm curious as to the reason you just don't go get your own set up...

If you do spot market, lots of brokers don't want to work with you untill you hit 3, 6, month or one year mark. Insurance is also very expensive for the first 1-2 years and many insurance companies don't even want to touch new start ups

Dude, in the time you are asking these questions you could've filed for your own. The only drawback would be the numbers are new, but they are yours. No strings attached.
