It’s just me! (Now that that’s out of the way all the trolls can go take a nap LOL).
No, I seriously think we need MORE trucks dangerously parked on the shoulder with their 4-ways on and gators and chunks of tire strewn all over the road about a quarter mile back. Yes, that’s what the world needs more of.
discuss.
Is it me or is it time to ban recap tires from on-highway use?

Not just recaps.Rookie driver 956, Shawn2130, tscottme and 2 others Thank this. -
My steer tires are Chinese made recaps.
(total troll comment) -
And you know these are recaps how?JoeyJunk, God prefers Diesels, W923 and 13 others Thank this.

Not all of those gators are recaps. There are a lot of virgin tires that come apart the same way.
JoeyJunk, God prefers Diesels, W923 and 20 others Thank this. -
I’ve had virgin tires come apart the exact same way. Lost all the tread off a Mich. drive with 50k miles on it, deck screw in the Sidewall.
now all the trucks parked on the shoulder for no apparent reason, no triangles out, hood not up. Probably not broke down just stopped to grab something out of the bunk or take a leak. Those guys should get kicked in the nads. Really makes my job of hauling over width stuff harder and more dangerous for everyone on the road. Take it to a #### exit rap at least!JoeyJunk, Nostalgic, God prefers Diesels and 21 others Thank this. -
Maybe we should ban Chinese tires period………
Captain_Teamwork, alds, tscottme and 5 others Thank this. -
Low air pressure causes that #### near every time. Virgin or cap. Honestly cap technology has come a long way. I would probably rather have caps on my casings that I know something about than lots of Chinese drives. Not to say there aren’t a few options at good cheaper drives.

"What's up it's your boy"
Thumbs down and closed.
I can complain about actually having the triangles out, but having no clue how to set them up so they're either still folded down or fallen over because drivers can't figure out that the weighted base needs to turn 90 degrees.JoeyJunk, Nostalgic, FearTheCorn and 8 others Thank this. -
100% right. It’s why I check my tires with a guage almost every day now, and if so just thump them and anything is questionable I hit them with the guage. These guys rarely check their tire air pressure I’ve noticedJoeyJunk, Rideandrepair, Feedman and 4 others Thank this.
