I stopped there one afternoon to get Moe's. Stopped back by coming back south for fuel later that night...... that place is a madhouse. Absolutely no way I would park there.

I was not impressed with the Chinese place. I think they need to hire some Chinese people to cook instead of the locals. Will not eat there again. I can wait until I get home to get Chinese food.

 

I ate there once going westbound. Ended up being a race to make it to Burlington. Haven’t been back since.

 

Since BDT Capital Partners bought a controlling stake in WhataBurger, things have gone downhill. The quality of the food has suffered. But, the purpose of the sale was to expand the territory, so partnering with Love's nationwide footprint makes sense.

Meanwhile in my area...I believe they are or have recently broke ground on a what-a-burger.... I hadn't seen one let alone ate from one in at least 10 years. I remember that the fries were really good. However, I went to pick up at a place in Columbia SC on Friday and right next door was a what a burger. Exit 22 on I-77 I believe it was. Still brand new.......

 

Not a bad place to break down either. There's an oreileys across the freeway . A fastenal next door for when u break a bolt head off in the parking lot. A John deere next door that carries cummins exhaust clamps, a chrome shop next door to that , that also carriers exhaust clamps . Don't ask me how I know... lol
