I know this question has been asked a million times on here, but can I really expect to make a decent wage ($35K-$40K+) in my first year? I am willing to work my butt off. I have nothing holding me back, like a wife or girlfriend, and I really don't care how much I am home. Only thing I gotta go home for is to get the mail and mow the lawn.

Also, is there any advice you guys can give me on Schneider? I've done my homework in the last few weeks, and for the most part, Schneider looks like a good company to work for. Would you guys agree?

Any responses would be appreciated.. Thanks in advance.

While it seems many on this board are fond of Schneider. I'm not impressed with their pay scales, they have multiple.

Yes, you can realistically expect to make 35-40K your first year. But, don't expect to be home every 10-14 days to check your mail and mow the grass.
