I would bet the DUI's are still on your criminal history. You can request a copy of your California DOJ CII Record (California Intrastate Identification), which is also known as a Rap Sheet, but also has jobs that require fingerprinting on it. Directions to request a copy can be found here Criminal Records - Request Your Own

I'm sure both DUI's still appear on my criminal history. Nothing is ever removed from a RAP sheet. My last job was with the Office of the District Attorney, and I have seen many many RAP sheets. They go back to the beginning of time. Still, I suspect submitting a one-page MVR to prospective employers instead of the five pages it was before will improve my chances.

Something not published by Cal DOJ. If your CII number starts out with an A, it is online at DOJ. If it starts with an M, it is a manual record, and someone has to physically go pull the paper copy of it. It will not be scanned in and put online unless you have a fresh arrest.

I passed the skills test at DMV this morning and I was issued a Class A license. It feels good to be finished with trucking school! I feel fairly confident in the skills I learned and I'm looking forward to getting to work. Unfortunately, three starter companies have declined to extend offers of employment. A fourth company has extended a conditional offer of employment pending successful completion of the background check and interview process. I hope to reach out to many other recruiters at the G.A.T.S. show this weekend in Dallas.
