I was told by the dot in Colorado that if I had it on my truck I wouldn't have been called inside. But that no, it is not required. Not for out of state trucks anyway.
Is my truck lettering correct?

Or if you haul out of the ports get a sharpie and just scribble the info on the door. Not necessary to be legible.

Where can I find that regulation? -
As far as i know the company name dot # need to be visible from 50ft away it one reason to pick you out of 10 other trucks for an inspection .

Thanks to everyone for your advice especially @brian991219 .
I will have just the top part remade with the name without the city and state.
I'm sure they will be able to see that at 50 ft.
That will work better.brian991219 Thanks this. -
