OK, I know that the names have changed... of the company, that is. XPO or some such fiddle faddle. I get that. But where are all the little dogies that were so fanatically defending the Great White Way over the past few years?
Was Conway Truckload really so great that, well, that old company law of nature favorite, "by their deeds you shall know them" finally blew all the compliant and obedient hopeful schills living in that muddy river of "da Nile" right over that waterfall and into the dead end, low pay job abyss?
I always did my best to warn potential drivers from accepting an OTR position with this company, regardless of what name it calls itself today.
Low, low pay and lousy conditions, as well as being assigned a truck that is potentially broken down once a week. Or more.
Dying ain't much of a way to make a living.
Obviously the only thing different with this company is it's really important sounding and cute acronym morphed into a name.
Exxxpeeeooo........
Sounds kinda modern yet simplified into something potentially marvelous.
It isn't......
I guess Conway Suckload wasn't exactly enticing for potential newbies.
IS the Conway Truckload Party Over?

I think, but I am not sure that their corporate culture has changed. -
Our current terminal manager left XPO after 25 years there to come here about 2 months ago. He said the company completely rid themselves of anything Conway and their principles, etc. I was under the impression that Conway/XPO were one and the same but apparently not so...
