I'm not very familiar with this type of work so would appreciate any help. Local frac sand hauling in Missouri. One way 20 miles pays $4 per ton, so $100 for round trip of 40 miles. I'm still checking into it but don't think there is much wait time. I think could do 6 loads per day. Hauling from mine to dump site where it is loaded onto a barge. End dump trailer.
Is this a good deal?

So $600 for 240 miles and whole day of work? I think it's a very bad deal

You better read the fine print.
There's a catch in there somewhere.
Drive to their yard and talk to the drivers.
If it was that good their buddies would have
The job before they even advertised.BigBob410 Thanks this. -
Just realized I wasn't clear in my original post. This is pay as an O/O not as an employee.

so 600 a day, times 5 days equals 3000 a week. Minus taxes, etc... even if you could only do 5 loads a day, that's still 2500 a week... maybe I'm just crazy, but that's not bad to me...

If it doesn’t equate to $100 per hour on duty time, it’s not enough to sustain a business.
