Is this the most beautiful city in the world? 4 days in Guilin, Yangshuo

Perhaps, there is town in Loas that is very similar. The trouble with finding the most beautiful, most remote, most whatever is people want to fame themselves and splash it all over the net so ultimately any beauty that exists gets trashed by hordes of tourists. Venus is one example but over a much longer period of time and a different medium. Then some like the dripins og man made, other the country, beaches, mountains and so on. Put me 7 day walk from civilization in a tent of the edge of an escarpment up in the hills all by myself and I'm at my happiest. Put me in a city and its OK for a day or two, but its all the same for me. For me the great thing about the bush/wilderness is the hordes can be at the camp ground with all their toys, but walk over the ridge with your rucsac and you have the joint to yourself. I don't see that in cities, or popular tourists spots, just lots and lots of people.
