Is trucking boring and lonely?

Amen to that!

 

If I get bored, I just listen to some of the idiots that can show up on the CB. Ten minutes of that crap, and I ain't bored no more, just pissed off at some of the morons out here making our job hard on the rest of us. Can say that I occassionally did find some danged good people out here, the best in the world. Also get a lot of thinking done behind the wheel. I'm out!

 

try putting more air in the seat bottom. If you're all the way down, that would huuuurt!

 

Oh yeah, driving is the only time I get to sing along with the radio without the dogs howling along, or in pain, I forget which. hahahhaha!

 

I had a 10 disc CD changer in my truck before I had XM so the radio entertained me the most. You have to enjoy driving though. You have to have some enjoyment from just being behind the wheel of the big truck looking in the mirrors and being a trucker.

 

I am one hell of a singer in a truck but you wont see me sing a lick outside of it.

 

Never liked Sinatra much before,,, but if you ever hear "that's life" on chanel 19 then I'm within a mile of you.

It is never boring if you do something to make it exciting... like walking back in the sleeper to get your cookies........... look out.....

 

That isn't to difficult. Just set your cruise. get back into the slow lane. Jump into the sleeper. Grab your cookies. Then back into the seat. Can be done in just a few seconds. Now where it gets tricky is when you decide to make a sandwich first when you get back there.
