    Have you ever had the feeling your phone was listening to you? Like, you have a conversation about a certain brand and then later you're served up an ad about that brand?

    We wanted to know if that actually happens. To find out, we checked with these sources: the "High-Tech Texan" Michael Garfield, University of Houston information systems professor Dr. Chris Bronk, the Federal Trade Commission and Facebook.

    I'm sure it's just a coincidence a driver was telling me about an item he got from Raney's truck parts and I started seeing ads for them on Facebook within a few hours...

    I can talk to Cortana (Windows version of Siri), she doesn't listen well tho.... Convenient excuse when I need to explain all the pornhub tabs open on my internet browser. Lol.

    I don't use voice on any of the listed, in using a search engine, the words typed in pull up ads, pinterest has visual search, while there's a few, I haven't noticed a whole lot of related ad's using it.

    hot women may bring up bikini babe's, lingere, celebrity's and so on

    Does it even matter in this day and age? According to the techies just about every appliance in your house is listening to you and the CIA is invading my every thought. I choose not to wear a foil cap, my life is not a hotbed of excitement, so if they are listening to me, more power to them. I hope they like the sound of my daily sitting on the throne after eating broccoli. If they were listening they soon will not be.
