It wouldn’t be so bad if I didn’t have live loads/unloads at every stop. And they cut the balls off my favorite truck cause of insurance
I.e no more 75-80mph on the free way it’s a hard 70mph govern

    Beware.

This is an unlikely, but very possible scenario. If you cheat to make it home and say for example your truck gets hit by a drunk driver leading to the death of said drunk driver, it won’t be the drunk driver’s fault.

That's exactly how I feel about the videogames. ###### driving always slowing down my imperial expansion.

Our company policy is never ever violate that 14 hour on duty time, or the 70 hour clock.
Had to walk up the street to take over for a driver that was out of hours...
As in 500 feet of the yard.
He clocked out with 1 minute on his 70.
No way he'd have made it.
Company is very adamant about that.

I went over my 11 by 4 minutes today. It's only the second time this year, but the first time was like a week ago, so I guess maybe there's a slim chance of a phone call.

Month back, drove from Denver to Dalhart, Tx and back, 5.25 down, spent 3 hrs loading, drove 5.75 back, at hour 14:01 it showed a violation for exceeding the 14 hr rule, based on miles/distance driven. While the FMCSA may not specifically show it, when the ELD shows the violation, on the report it lists miles/distance.

I don’t know what to tell you, mileage run or mileage from reporting location has nothing to do with the 16 hour exemption.

On our peoplenet system we have to chose an exemption such as: 30 min break (not required when oversize), ag exemption, local, adverse conditions, or 16 hour exemption.
