ISX CM871 Oil In Coolant

    The Check and Stop lights come on when the ECM is losing the signal inputs from the throttle. You have a wiring problem between the pedal and engine. Run the engine and then wedge something to hold the pedal partially down enough to increase the rpm. Then, wiggle the throttle wiring and harness to the ECM. When the problem spot is moved, it should induce the fault which will make the engine return to idle to help pin point your problem location.

    Update: HeavyD, disregard the last reply about the throttle position sensor. Turns out… the new pedal wasn’t for my truck! They sold me one for a Prostar. That would explain why the sensors didn’t look the same. Anyway, I’m sure when I get the right one in, everything will be ok.
