I understand it's impossible to "guarantee" anything, but I'm curious if anyone here gets loads from the U.S. "deep" into Canada?

Does it happen often...or are most Canadian runs within 100-200 miles of the border?

Ever get a trip from the lower 48 into Alaska?

Finally, how about the infrastructure away from the big cities...are there "truck stops" or is that an "American" thing?

    Thanks Guys!

Check some of the load boards to see the loads being listed, that'll give you the answers you're looking for. Search on these subjects on the web.

    Good Luck

I regularly go as far north as Ft Nelson, BC and Ft McMurray, AB... as far east as Seskatchewan.... and as far west as Vancouver Island. Is that deep enough for ya?

I've never been to Alaska, but a few of our drivers have been given loads there.

As far as truckstops go.... in the areas I run, outside of the major cities (Calgary, Edmonton, etc) you're lucky to find any kind of truck stop. You might find a cardlock with space for 5 or 6 trucks. Other than that, you're parking at roadside turnouts, frontage roads, side streets or in the customer's parking lot.
