I saw on Indeed that it’s a local gig requiring a hazmat. It says in the description that they will train, so experience hauling hazmat must not be necessary. The pay range is $24-34 hourly, so it’s a safe assumption I’d start out at 24. But with CoL being so low in WV, that’s actually not too bad if there’s plenty of OT. To read the reviews, 10-12 hour days seem to be the norm, though they have busy seasons where they may work 14 hour days. It seems they take a mandatory daily half-hour lunch break from your pay, but it still seems decent overall. Does anyone know anything about them? They seem to operate in the northern WV/PA area.
Jacob’s Petroleum Products (Morgantown WV) a good place to work?

I know nothing about the company in question.
However -- getting experience with a carrier that does BOTH propane & gasoline...should be an outstanding opportunity -- for the right kind of driver.
Few things brighten up a trucking resume.....better than 18 months (or more) of that kind of experience -- along with a good safety record.

I used to haul propane into their terminal in Waynesburg PA quite a bit. One of the nicer, updated facilities I delivered to. They have nice equipment and their drivers I talked to seemed happy. They run a lot of straight trucks, single axles, to deliver propane and they have tractor trailers to haul fuel from what I remember

They take the 30 minute lunch break from your pay? I’d have to imagine they add a half hour to your time if you don’t take it.
