From my experience I would ask the recruiter for a driver on that account to call and ask questions of (if available) or try to "run into" one and ask about it. But if it is as the recruiter says, 5 days week, home everyday, and the pay check is there every payday... I'd say it wouldn't matter who's name is on the truck, or paycheck. Right now, in this economy, finding a gig like that would be the proverbial needle in a haystack.

Could be rail containers too. They had something like that in the Wisconsin area pulling rail containers out of Chicago . . . can you say nightmare? I've been to the Chicago railyards before, never again!

That might not be too horrid since it's delivering to the stores. I think JB delivers to the Office Depot stores around here. I have seen their trucks there on a regular basis.

yea i'm just leary because of the jb horror stories i'm waiting to hear from the recruter as i asked for some drivers phone numbers on that account so i can get the info first hand. this is an established acct because i've deliverd there and am wondering why all of a sudden they need 10 drivers i want to know the turnover because if it's so rosey making 55k a year why are guys leaving.

That is a very very good question! Just about any driver that wants to be local would like something like that . . . home daily, 55k a year . . . something smells rotten in Denmark there.:yes2557:

They might just need more drivers due to expansion, though. Maybe another carrier got bumped off the account and JB got the contract to replace them. Who knows?

as far as i know they have the complete contract i could be wrong but do you know of anybody in this current economy that is expanding enough that they would need 10 more drivers in one warehouse?
