:biggrin_25514: Ok, I have been running the board for about a week. I'm over 3k in miles and out of hours. I think I have did everything wrong...so I'm asking for advice. :yes2557::biggrin_25511: Anyone out there willing to help old turtle cross the road safely to greener pastures? I'm making about a buck a mile, paying about 3.30 avg fuel and getting between 5.5 to 6.1 gas mileage. I drive around 62, my check engine light is on, I have the 10 cascadia. O yeah I got the .09 maint. Anyone running this board pls speak up.

I can't give you help from first hand knowledge, because I haven't used the JB Hunt load board. Is this for the lease purchase where you choose your own loads?

I can regurgitate two pieces of advice I've read on this board from the experienced people:

    1. That mpg is not going to work you need to find a way to get that up around 7 otherwise money you could be putting in your bank account is being blown out your exhaust pipe.
    2. You have to change the way you think about driving you are no longer a miles machine you need to focus on effective miles. You have to go from looking at the game on a piece level and see the whole game board. Try to see every load not only how much it pays you, but also how much it will cost you.

    azcardnlz and Sabri Thank this.

do all the loads pay the same or do some pay more than others.

Ever get that check engine light off? Fuel mileage up? And have you ever started making better money?
