I just made my first 2 weeks with them . Dry van market is slow now and they really have steady freight . I made 5200 miles for 12 days . Decent ! , 1.86 on loaded miles ( after they stopped already their percentage !!! ) , 1.68 on all miles total ....there is 3 options of payment , I chose the 76% of the total load , you practically pay 24% for trailer use and dispatch to them , there is 7.50 waiver fee for each load for trailer interchange insurance, if you do not have one already ! 95% is drop and hook , surprisingly there is some deadhead miles , almost 15% percent of the total miles , equipment/trailers is not A+ ! ( between 2012 and 2016 , well used trailers , need some things most of them ! ) . All together for the slow market right now , I think it is not bad gig for awhile , yeah you pay some extra money to them ! True ! But they have the loads ! Life !....I RUN UNDER MY OWN AUTHORITY ! CAN COME AND GO ANYTIME I WANT !

I have invitations to do power only from them multiple times every week. The rates they promise are in 1.60 - 1.70 range are too low to get excited, if you have your own MC#, although I understand the comfort of consistency. I can still get better rates from their brokerage but of course those are outbound runs.
Anyway, being on a spot market - completely reliant on load boards, so far this year I run 12090 miles and grossed $22313 where 567 miles were empty: loaded 1.94, all 1.85, comparing to the same period last year; I was close to 3 per mile on loaded and 2.5 on all. Total YTD cost per mile is 1.15 where 0.70 c per mile is what the truck has made before I pay myself. I still pick and chose and am all right of not going out there at all for up to 6 - 8 months, just sitting home and re-watching Sopranos but it only shows how slow it has become.
So if a 1099 OTR driver here in Chicago makes 55 c a mile, I make only 20 c more, which is not too good but I think the drivers are overpriced now; 5 years ago the same driver was making 38 - 40 c a mile and they did not ##### about it. This means that companies relaying on Load boards and brokered freight are hurting and they are just above water while trying to retain drivers at that pay. The last time there was a major cut in Chicago driver wages was back in 2008-2009 by about 20 - 30%. -
