JBS Carriers Inc Greely Colorado ?

They fired me last November(long story)but I told the guy that fired me they were still the best job I ever had.I was on track to gross 60,000.00

I didn't take time off however,Holland had just went to elogs I never got a chance to elog and didn't want to.I think over all they might be better because they are smaller 200 trucks family owned equipment is all new with carrier and tripac apu.My fuel and safety bonus was 600.00 every 90 days.I got my yr.end bonus penney for all my mi.it was 1400.00 they let me have it even though I was fired.

 

I get a lot of loads out of packing plants (I'm not with JBS,) but it is usual to get a load with a 24 to 36 hour pick-up window. More often than not, the load won't be ready until near the "Drop Dead Time." Plenty of miles from the meat patch to the east coast - I see JBS all the time.

 

You live in Norfolk you should check shakey1946 thread about Howell'sMotor Freight I have never heard nothing but good on this company.They get home and money too.

 

I know you want 1st hand info, but since that seems to be scarce, I'll go ahead and throw this out there.

A friend of mine drove for Navajo until a few months ago. He said tons of Navajo drivers were leaving and flocking to JBS. According to what he was hearing, they are a great company and really respect drivers.

 

Hey Doc....when do you leave to fly out? Looking forward to your reports about what it's like a JBS.
By the way, I read just about every piece of advice and tips you have in your other posts on here. Thanks for all the great information, it is certainly appreciated from this newbie.

Bigrigger you need to tell us why fired, so we don't make same mistake.

 

I was fired from Holland Enterprise not JBS they just load at some of the same places.

 

How bad did it hurt you on you DAC

 

It didn't hurt my DAC at all.I left on good terms with my year end bonus and a good safety/fuel bonus.They had to fire me or someone who was lieing about me I think they knew I would take it better.

The longer I drove trucks the less I worried about the DAC because most of my jobs don't use DAC,and if you been driving as long as me without any DOT accidents it's kind of hard for some bs a college kid puts on there to make it appear bad.
