Anyone on here from Jersey Shore (NJ) area and can recommend some good trucking companies to start out? @Chinatown perhaps you know of a few? I'm right by Toms River/Lakewood/Brick area. Have my CDL for 18 years but limited experience, so I will be a trainee. Thanks in advance!

When is the last time you were employed as a cdl driver?
Lots of OTR outfits will hire you.
Melton Truck Lines probably get you up to speed.
Do you want to run the roads?
Can give you lots of choices.
If you want local, Schneider might put you through their refresher course and let you pull intermodal to the ports.Last edited: Dec 15, 2019
