Not yet hoping to be able to get on the road after the first of the year, have some back issues to straighten out but they have told me I can start when ever

 

Jim Palmer won't touch me. New CDL holder. Told me I'd need to sign a contract. Said I'd think about it. When I called them back they had an attitude and said they were passing. lol. So I applied with Wil because I'd heard they bought Haney in Washington state. Told I needed 12 months experience. Makes no sense what so ever... because on their site they train people to get their CDL.

 

JPT almost went bankrupt under ownership by a Bosnian. It was kept out of bankruptcy, but just barely. Are you sure your information is since 2014/2015. You might be referring to the Bosnian former owner. People frequently confuse Bosnian, Serbian, Macedonians. I think all were part of former Yugoslavia.

Jim Palmer wil trans it’s all prime so I would have to say it probably sucks. Bad.

 

They contract to Prime, but Prime doesn't own them.

 

My friend works for JPT and you're right, Prime is just a contract but with the company's fast growth they're doing less and less Prime loads.

 

I am considering getting into the trucking field been actually thinkinG about it for a few years now. Jim Palmer is one that I have been considering going to for the training and so forth.. And I just want to thank you for your insight cause it has really helped me alot...

 

Do they have any company benefits besides being nice guys? Health plans? 401K? etc...
