Probably not, at least in our nighborhood. Some of the stores are owned by 7-11 itself and some are owned by franchisees.
The independent owners get gas from whatever outfit their fuel broker uses.
Most major gas customers won't use just one carrier and the bigger they are the more inclined they are not to depend on a single carrier for all their product. It would be too easy for the carrier to walk away and leave them completely without trucks.
One of our biggest accounts uses three carriers when any one of us could do the job. Keeps us hungry and eager to please...or so they think.truckdriver31 Thanks this. -
Helps keep rates low......

LOL...yeah. The bean counters at the fuel broker know exactly to the penny how much they can charge for the fuel and how little they can pay to have it hauled.
The only time we get in on the three company circus is during the summer when usage is high. When they finally get around to calling us we make sure our rate makes the bean counters get all wide-eyed and twitchy. If they don't want to pay our rate they can find other trucks. We don't count on their business as anything but a few extra loads here and there.Rubber duck kw, Cat sdp and truckdriver31 Thank this. -
