    Hi,
I've applied to more than one local trade school. I've applied to my local Roofer Union, carpenter union and the painting apprenticeship. My first choice of an apprenticeship would obviously be the painter union. I have to be prepared though if I get accepted into more than one trade school. My question is what do I say to the managers at the companies in terms of schedule if I get accepted into more than one trade. Again my first choices would be painting and the laborers union/carpentry.

I've never been in this position, so this is strictly my opinion, FWIW.

If you already have enough income to support yourself while waiting, wait for the painter's apprenticeship, since that is your preference.

If you have to get a skill right away, take the first one that comes up, fully commit to it, and don't look back.

    Good luck.
