As a rather inexperienced driver who got burned by my first Class A driving company, would you guys recommend going for this one?

2 nights at home equals only 1 full day at home, which is not good for 2 weeks out.
Trucker61016 and ChiefKeefy91 Thank this. -
Another driver on here, right out of CDL school just went there also.
Don't remember his screen name.ChiefKeefy91 Thanks this. -
Which was your first company?

It looks good to me! I'd give it a try. HMD has pretty good looking equipment, and they're good sized.ChiefKeefy91 and Chinatown Thank this.

2 weeks out and they are only averaging 2500-2800 miles a week? I average that and am home at least 4 nights a week. When I am on the road I want at least 3000 or it ain't worth it to me
OlegMel and ChiefKeefy91 Thank this. -
I'm home every day and I'm running 3,140 miles a week on my scheduled bid. If I was running OTR my ### better be getting more than 2800 miles a week.

Avoid the Chicago crowd...

Look at Marten Transport, instead:
Marten Transport | Homepage
Since you have more than 6 months experience -- you now qualify to drive 4 them.
Also: their nearest terminal to you is in DeSoto, TX -- about 75 miles away. Not bad at all.
-- LLonesome and ChiefKeefy91 Thank this.
