I wonder how the truck was able to communicate with the officer in the Florida Ag station.

“Hal, please pull in to the Ag station”

    “I’m afraid I can’t do that, Dave”

Mega trucking are really looking forward in buying these trucks to keep from having to pay drivers 40 cents per mile to drive 70 hours a week

There was a driver in both the Budweiser one and this one. It says he was there to take the wheel in case anything went wrong. So glorified cruise control?

Has to be safer than a student training a student, its called progress, and its coming like it or not.

I personally think driverless trucks will never happen. All will be good untill the first one wrecks.. not if, but when. Why dont you think they have driverless ag tractors/combines? Too much can go wrong, too much of a liability.

I know it’s progress and progress can be good, I’m not a fan of this progress though but do know at some point it will happen however much we don’t like it, but I do think that sometimes progress comes at a cost, and I think in this situation the cost isn’t worth the progress. Like you said though it’s coming and it’s just a matter of when.

    Steel Dragon Thanks this.
