There are certain loads it really applies to.
Canning factories that have a steady input/output but don't have the room to store that much is one example.
If too many loads don't get there on time the whole factory will have to shut down.SmallPackage and Rideandrepair Thank this. -
A lot of Dispatchers play that game, telling the Driver, he needs to be there early, when it doesn’t matter, so they can have a Driver available in the area, if needed. Purely selfish reasons. Brokers say it when they don’t have a clue, to cover themselves. I call the Customer if needed, when running late, before calling the Broker.
