Wow! Never heard that one. Those drayage guys are paid sh it. They gotta go pretty hard to make a living. Wonder how long it was off the chassis before he realized.

not sure--our city driver was in that lane of course--but the guy next to him headed for the shoulder so he could get by--and he only ended up taking off his mirror on the can

Since tomorrow is a holiday, maybe you can catch up on posting. We're sure interested in knowing more of "just some of the stupid stuff I see".

Here's a link I found. Hope you like it and share it with your fellow DB's.
    Pretty good music!

Well the other day I met Cheech and Chong. Walk up to a truck that was speeding and tailgating. While sepaking to the driver, I caught a "whiff" of some wacky weed. I get back to the car and take a whiff of the driver's log book and dang, it was a strong smell of weed. Pull all three out and find a good size baggie full, blunts and a bunch of other paraphernalia. They were surprised I could smell their weed, because they hadn't smoked any for at least 8 hours. :biggrin_25521:

The full moon has brought all kinds out. Had another driver, I should say a wanna be driver, that only had a learner's permit for Class A. No one else in the truck with him. After I place him out of service, he gives it a few hours, then tries again. He was shocked when pulled up beside him and stopped him. On the way to the jail he asked "is this going to be on that CSA thing." I told him, "No I don't think you have to worry with CSA, you won't get your CDL now." :biggrin_255:

It's now wonder that people think of us what they do with so many morons like this on the road. I really can't believe all the stuff that you find and run into DB. Just think if every officer finds as many of this type of thing as you do what that means. :biggrin_2556: I am truly amazed at how much of this is out there. I guess those of us that are professional and legal really don't have much to worry about considering the competition we are up against. Thanks for getting this trash off the road. :biggrin_25514:

It amazes me, makes me shake my head in disbelief. Just look around at some of the truck stops, I'm sure you see them.

It would be hard to imagine that you are the only one catching them.

Sad to say the least for the industry.
