supposedly those were all empty kegs so those rushing to scavenge what looked like a easy haul were only left with a mess.

Apparently it wasnt near a college. As there would be plenty of volunteers to help with the cleanup.
BOL before the wreck 600 kegs. BOL after college volunteer 215 kegs

    Puppage and mjd4277 Thank this.

I hope those were empty kegs. If they were filled, they probably had some pressure to them.

I don't recognize that overpass. Must be a newer job built in the last 20 years or so or rebuilt. He must have been rolling to come off there. What a waste.

As mangled as that truck cab was, it's amazing no one was killed.

Apparently you havent been a college kid. Empty kegs are very valuable. There are many whom do their own brewing. Beer kegs are a great way to hide hard liquor. Beer Kegs are great alternative gas tanks for the car that some how developed a hole during their vacation (some one stole their gas). Beer Kegs are also highly prized in trasure hunts. The list goes on, yet you get the idea.

    Lepton1 and mjd4277 Thank this.

If anything in college the tap for the keg was even more valuable than the keg itself.
