OK, just drive to another state or get tattooed while on vacation somewhere. I like the Buddhist tattoos, since I married into a Buddhist family.

I wonder if this would be frowned upon ?
camionneur and Chinatown Thank this. -
Absent of a public health concern, it is no business of the state where a tattoo is placed or what it might be covering up. The public health concerns (cleaning/care of equipment, blood-borne pathogen protections, etc...) are already addressed in the licensing of tattoo parlors, so I'd imaging the courts will toss this rather quickly as being outside the police powers of the state to regulate such a personal matter that really doesn't affect anyone other than the individual choosing what/where to get a tattoo placed upon their own body.

Must be a slow day in Frankfort. For a minute there I thought it may have been an issue from a DOC point of view.

Tattoo's used to be forever; now many tattoo shops can remove tattoo's with laser technology.
Many people are having old tattoo's they regret, removed. Some have fresh new ones where the old one was.
Mine are from the 1960's while in the Navy. Can't understand why they're still clear. They don't look new by any means, but still distinct. Wish my face looked that good.mjd4277 Thanks this.
